Driving Circuit Basics

Required components:

  • NPN transistor (2N2222 or BC547)
  • Base resistor (1kΩ to 10kΩ)
  • Flyback diode (1N4007 or 1N4148)
  • 5VDC power supply
Connect diode cathode to coil positive, anode to negative
Use 10kΩ pull-down resistor on transistor base for stability
