JDY-41 2.4G Wireless Serial Transparent Transmission Module
Remote Control Switch and Transceiver for Arduino Projects
The JDY-41 is a 2.4G wireless serial module designed for transparent transmission and remote control switching. It enables wireless UART communication and direct IO switch control without external MCU.
Dual Functionality Serial passthrough and remote control switching
Long Range - Reliable communication up to 160 meters in open space
Versatile IO Control - 8 configurable GPIO pins for switch applications
Operating voltage is 2.2V to 3.6V - use 3.3V logic levels
Pull SET pin low to enter AT command configuration mode
Not 5V tolerant - level shifting required for 5V microcontrollers

Pin Configuration and Wiring
| Pin | Name | Function |
|---|
| Pin 1-8 | GPIO1-8 | Configurable input/output pins |
| Pin 9 | VCC | 2.2V to 3.6V power |
| Pin 10 | RXD | Serial receive input |
| Pin 11 | TXD | Serial transmit output |
| Pin 12 | SET | Configuration mode (low to enter) |
| Pin 13 | CS | Chip select / sleep control |
| Pin 14 | GND | Ground |
> Connect VCC to 3.3V supply only
Use TX to host RX, RX to host TX for serial connection
Do not connect to 5V logic directly - use level shifter
Configuration and Use
Enter AT command mode:
- Pull SET pin low
- Send AT commands via UART
- Set baud rate, channel, ID
Transparent mode:
- SET pin high
- Data sent to RXD transmits wirelessly
- Received data outputs on TXD
Default baud rate is 9600
Use terminal software for AT command testing
Ensure SET is released after configuration
Troubleshooting
No communication:
- Check 3.3V power supply
- Verify RX/TX crossover
- Avoid 5V logic connection
Short range:
- Ensure antenna unobstructed
- Reduce interference sources
- Avoid metal enclosures
