Pinout

Pin | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | VCC | 5V power supply |
2 | GND | Ground |
3 | IN | Control signal input |
Working Principle
When the control signal (3.3V-5V) is applied to the **IN** pin, the relay activates, connecting the Normally Open (NO) terminal to the Common (COM) terminal. This allows current to flow through the connected device. The optocoupler provides isolation between the low-voltage control side and the high-power switching side, protecting the microcontroller from potential surges.
Relay Terminals
- **COM (Common)**: The common terminal for switching
- **NO (Normally Open)**: Connected to COM when the relay is active
- **NC (Normally Closed)**: Connected to COM when the relay is inactive
Applications
- Home automation
- Industrial equipment control
- IoT-based projects
- Smart agriculture
- Remote device management
