Pinout
Pin | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | VCC | 5V power supply |
2 | GND | Ground |
3-10 | IN1-IN8 | Control signal inputs for each relay |
Relay Terminals
- **COM (Common)**: Shared terminal for switching.
- **NO (Normally Open)**: Open circuit until the relay is activated.
- **NC (Normally Closed)**: Closed circuit until the relay is activated.
Working Principle
Each relay is triggered independently via its respective control pin (IN1-IN8). When the control pin is pulled LOW, the corresponding relay activates, connecting the Normally Open (NO) terminal to the Common (COM) terminal, allowing current to flow. The optocoupler ensures isolation between the microcontroller and high-voltage circuits, protecting your devices.
Applications
- Home and industrial automation
- IoT-based device control
- Smart agriculture
- Lighting systems
- HVAC systems
