Working
5mm mixed LEDs function similarly to individual LEDs. Each LED emits light when a forward voltage is applied. The emitted light's color depends on the semiconductor material, producing distinct wavelengths for red, yellow, green, and blue LEDs.
Applications
- Used in RGB lighting systems for colorful displays.
- Status indicators for electronics and appliances.
- Decorative lighting for events and celebrations.
- Signaling systems such as traffic lights.
- DIY projects and educational electronics.
Specifications
- Red LED: Forward Voltage 1.8–2.2V, Wavelength 620–750nm
- Yellow LED: Forward Voltage 2.0–2.2V, Wavelength 590–600nm
- Green LED: Forward Voltage 2.0–3.2V, Wavelength 520–570nm
- Blue LED: Forward Voltage 3.0–3.2V, Wavelength 450–490nm
- Forward Current: 20mA (typical for all colors)
Pinout

Each LED has two pins:
- Anode (+): The longer pin, connected to the positive terminal of the power supply.
- Cathode (-): The shorter pin, connected to the ground (GND).
